We are pleased to share the latest updates and enhancements introduced in Version 26.20. Below are the key features and improvements, along with their respective locations for easy reference.

Enhancements​

1. Customer Material – GRN Inspection Before Job Work DC Out​

Location: You can access Job Work DC In and Job Work DC Out under Store → Operations, and GRN Inspection under GRN → Operations.

Details:

  • A Job Work DC In with Customer Material now stays Open instead of closing straight away. It follows the same flow as Part-RM.
  • Inspect it in GRN Inspection (Inward Type Customer Job Work Inward). The status becomes Partially Inspected or Closed based on the inspected quantity.
  • Only the accepted quantity is available in Job Work DC Out. A DC that has not been inspected is not listed.
  • Cancelling a GRN Inspection moves the status back and reduces the quantity available in Job Work DC Out.
  • Once inspection has started, the DC In line can't be removed or reduced below the inspected quantity, and the DC can be cancelled only while it is still Open.
  • In GRN Inspection, Customer Material is shown with the type Customer Material. It is inspected in Quantity mode and is not offered under Sampling.
  • Customer Material DCs received before this change stay Closed and work in Job Work DC Out as before.

2. Control Task Edit Screen​

Location: You can access Control Task Edit from the Edit Control Task button on the Control Task Report screen (Is IoT Report = No).

Details:

  • Serial Edit Mode toggle: A two-button toggle — Enter Serial and Select Serial — is now shown in the Completed Process List header and in each serial group sub-header (when multiple serials are selected).
    • Enter Serial (existing mode): Type the corrected serial number directly. Used to fix a wrong serial across already-completed processes. The typed value propagates to all process rows for the same part.
    • Select Serial (new mode): Choose a replacement serial from a dropdown of unprocessed (NEW) serials. The system automatically swaps the selected row to the new serial and reassigns the new serial's unprocessed entry back to the old serial, keeping process history consistent.
    • Remarks column: A new remarks field has been added to the control task report and also recorded in stockledger record .

  • We have improved both backend and frontend components to enhance the application's speed, stability, and overall performance.
  • The application submission process has been optimized to ensure a smoother and faster user experience.
