This release adds important controls in Returnable DC Out and Returnable DC In to help users select the correct quantity, source, and serial number while adding or editing records.

Enhancements​

1. Returnable DC Out - Source, Serial Number, and Quantity Controls​

Location: You can access Returnable DC Out under Purchase -> Operations

Details:

  • Added Source Type and Status support in the line item screen for better clarity during outward entry.
  • Added source selection rules for applicable item types and serial number selection for Part + PROC lines.
  • Added Available Qty check so users cannot enter more than the quantity currently available.
  • Added validation to stop submission when source total does not match line quantity.
  • Added validation to stop submission when selected serial number count does not match line quantity.
  • Added duplicate line restriction for the same Type + Product + Status combination.
  • Added submit-time validation to stop users if the same source quantity or serial number was already used by another transaction before submit.
  • In edit mode, if a selected serial number is already returned inward or already inspected, that serial number stays locked and cannot be removed.
  • In edit mode, if a source quantity is already used in Returnable DC In, users cannot reduce that outward source below the inwarded quantity.

2. Returnable DC In - Source and Serial Number Controls​

Location: You can access Returnable DC In under Purchase -> Operations

Details:

  • Added source selection based on the source already chosen in the outward entry.
  • Added serial number selection based on the serial numbers already chosen in the outward entry.
  • Added mandatory validation so users must select source or serial number where required.
  • Added validation to stop submission when source total does not match the current inward quantity.
  • Added validation to stop submission when selected serial number count does not match the current inward quantity.
  • In edit mode, if a serial number is already inspected, it stays locked and cannot be removed.
  • In edit mode, if part of a selected source is already inspected, users cannot reduce that source below the already inspected quantity.

3. Stock Protection Across Returnable DC Out and Returnable DC In​

Location: Available through both Returnable DC Out and Returnable DC In

Details:

  • Improved stock control between outward and inward entries so the same quantity or serial number cannot be reused incorrectly.
  • Added protection to keep outward and inward records aligned when users edit source quantity or serial number selections.
  • Improved edit validations so already used quantity and already processed serial numbers are protected from accidental reduction or removal.
