Internal Material Order

Menu path: Purchase -> Operations -> Internal Material Order

Internal Material Order is used to move material between plants inside DMeX. The order has a draft stage, a submitted stage, and a closing/cancellation flow.

Search using:

  • Internal Material Order No
  • From Date
  • To Date
  • Source Plant
  • Delivery Plant
  • Status

The search grid shows:

  • View and edit action
  • PDF generation
  • Order number
  • Order date
  • Source plant
  • Delivery plant
  • Status

Create order​

Open Add Internal Material Order and fill these header fields:

  • Order No
  • Order Date
  • Source Plant
  • Delivery Plant
  • Delivery Address
  • Remarks

The source and delivery plants cannot be the same.

Add line items​

In draft mode, add line items with:

  • Part
  • Quantity
  • Unit Price
  • Delivery Date
  • Description

The line item table shows:

  • Part detail
  • Quantity
  • Received quantity
  • Open quantity
  • Delivery date
  • Status
  • Unit price
  • Total value

Save and submit​

  • Save as Draft keeps the order editable.
  • Submit locks the order and generates the final order number when numbering is configured that way.

Other actions​

  • Cancel Order marks the order as cancelled.
  • Close Order closes the order after completion.
  • Back returns to the search screen.

Orders that are cancelled or moved out of draft are read-only.
