Invoice Quantity Report
INVOICE QUANTITY REPORT
Prerequisites
Before generating an Invoice Quantity Report, make sure that:
- Relevant invoices have been added and finalized.
- Master data like Customer, Plant, Sales Orders, and Invoices are properly updated.
- The user has permission to access the report module under the Sales section.
⚠️ Keeping the information up-to-date ensures accurate reporting and prevents missing or incorrect entries in the results.
1.1 Search Invoice Quantity Report
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to Report Screen
From the main left-side menu, click on:
Sales → Reports → Invoice Quantity Report
This opens the search filter screen for viewing reports.
Step 2: Select Date Range
You will see two mandatory fields:
- Invoice Date From (Mandatory): Select the starting date from which you want to generate the report.
- Invoice Date To (Mandatory): Select the end date for the invoice data range.
These fields allow you to retrieve invoices that were created within this specific time range.
Step 3: Click “Search”
Once the date range is selected, click on the green Search button.
To reset the form, click Clear.
1.2 View Invoice Quantity Report
After clicking Search, you will see the report results in a tabular format.
Report Table Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
Serial No | Auto-generated row number. |
Customer | Displays the name of the customer. |
Invoice Number | The invoice number generated during invoicing. |
Invoice Date | The date on which the invoice was raised. |
Plant | The plant associated with the invoice. |
PO Number | Purchase Order number linked to the invoice. |
PO Date | Date on which the Purchase Order was created. |
PO Revision | Revision number of the Purchase Order. |
Line Item | The line item count/details for the invoice. |
You can also use the Search field (top-right) to filter the report results by keyword.
1.3 Export Options
At the top of the results table, you’ll see the following buttons:
- Excel: Click to export the report as an Excel file.
- Print: Click to generate a print-friendly version of the report.
These features help users save or share the invoice quantity data offline.
- Only invoices falling within the selected date range will be displayed.
- If no results are found, ensure the invoice data exists for the selected duration.
- This report is useful for tracking the number of invoices, order volume, and customer-wise dispatches.
