MTTR & MTBF REPORTS​
The MTTR MTBF Report shows, machine by machine, the Available Hours, Total DownTime, Total UpTime, No Of Breakdowns, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTBF In Days, MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and Utility for a selected range of months.
1.1 Search for MTTR & MTBF Reports​
Step 1: Access the MTTR MTBF Report Screen
- Navigate to the main menu and click on "Maintenance".
- Go to "Reports" and select "MTTR MTBF Report". The screen title is "MTTR MTBF Report".
- The menu entry is shown only to users who have access to the MTTR MTBF Report.
Step 2: Understanding the MTTR MTBF Report Search Fields
The MTTR MTBF Report search is done by month, not by individual date.

To Month must be the same as or later than From Month; otherwise the warning "Report To Date should not be less than Report From Date." is shown and no report is generated. |
Step 3: Search and Clear on the MTTR MTBF Report
- Search: The "Search" button is enabled only when both From Month and To Month are filled in. Clicking "Search" fetches the MTTR MTBF Report for the selected month range.
- When the report is fetched, the message "Report(s) Retrieved" is shown.
- If nothing is returned, the message "No Reports Retrieved for your Input" is shown.
- If the report cannot be fetched, the message "Cant Retrieved the report" is shown.
- Clear: Clicking "Clear" empties the From Month and To Month fields and clears the results. Select the months again before searching.
Step 4: Understanding the MTTR MTBF Report Results Table
The MTTR MTBF Report results table is laid out with one column per machine. The first column, headed "Machine", lists the measure names, and each following column is headed with a machine name and shows that machine's values. If a value is empty or zero it is shown as 0. The first row (Available Hours) is highlighted in yellow.
The rows (measures) of the MTTR MTBF Report are:
- Available Hours: Total available hours of the machine in the selected month range.
- Total DownTime: Total downtime recorded for the machine during the period.
- Total UpTime: Available Hours minus Total DownTime.
- No Of Breakdowns: Number of breakdowns recorded for the machine in the period.
- MTBF: Mean Time Between Failures for the selected range.
- MTBF In Days: MTBF expressed in days.
- MTTR: Mean Time To Repair for the selected range.
- Utility: Overall machine utility.
Step 5: Export the MTTR MTBF Report to Excel
- Export as Excel: The "Export as Excel" button downloads the MTTR MTBF Report as an Excel (.xlsx) file named "MTTR & MTBF Report". The button is shown only to users who have the Export Excel permission.
- The Excel sheet title is "MTBF & MTTR Report - <Month Year>" when From Month and To Month are the same, or "MTBF & MTTR Report From: <Month Year> To: <Month Year>" for a range. The sheet uses the same layout as the screen (measures as rows, machines as columns).
1.2 MTBF Chart Report and MTTR Chart Report​
The Maintenance > Reports menu also has "MTBF Chart Report" and "MTTR Chart Report". These use the same From Month / To Month search, Search and Clear buttons and the same month-range rule as the MTTR MTBF Report, but show a line chart instead of a table.
- MTBF Chart Report: Chart titled "Machine wise MTBF: <month range>", with machines on the X axis and Target Days on the Y axis. The MTBF Mean Avg value is shown at the top right of the chart.
- MTTR Chart Report: Chart titled "Machine wise MTTR: <month range>", with machines on the X axis and Target Days on the Y axis. The MTTR Mean Avg value is shown at the top right of the chart.
- A target must exist for the selected month and year (set in Maintenance > Master > MTTR & MTBF Target). If it does not, the message "Please add MTBF Target for the selected Month and Year" (MTBF Chart Report) or "Please add MTTR Target for the selected Month and Year" (MTTR Chart Report) is shown and no chart is drawn.
- Each menu entry is shown only to users who have access to that chart report.
