1.1 Add Customer Material
Add Customer Material - Step-by-Step
Step 1: Reach the Customer Material
From the main side menu, click on Store → Master → Customer Material.
This will open the Customer Material Search page.
Step 2: Adding a Customer Material
On the top-right corner of the page, click the “Add Customer Material” button.
This will open the Create Customer Material page.
Step 3: Fill in the Details
Upon clicking the Add Customer Material button, complete the following information:

Customer Material Number (Text Field - Mandatory) Enter a unique number that identifies the customer material.

Customer Material Description (Text Field - Mandatory)
Provide a brief description that helps identify and understand the nature of the corresponding customer material number.
noteTo modify dropdown values, access the Master Category page.
This page allows you to edit existing options within the dropdown list.
Step 4: Save, Clear, or Cancel
- Submit – To retain the information, select Submit. This action will save the customer with the provided details.
- Clear – Click Clear if you wish to erase all information and begin anew.
- Cancel – Click Cancel to go back to the Customer Search page without saving.
1.2 Sub-Tabs
Step 1: Add Customer Material Price (Optional)
Below the edit form, you will find a section named “Create Customer Material Price” with RM-Part Price.
In the RM-Part Price tab, fill in the following mandatory fields:
- Currency – Choose the relevant currency option (e.g., USD, INR, EUR) to define the monetary unit.
- Part Type – Select the appropriate type (e.g., RM Price - DC Value) to categorize parts.
- Price – Enter the numerical value representing the cost in the selected currency.
- Effective Date – Enter the start date when the price becomes active.
- Expiry Date – Choose the date when the price becomes invalid.
noteTo modify or add new dropdown values, access the Master Category page.
After filling in the details:
- Click Submit to add the entry to the system.
- The newly added details will appear in the list below.
To edit entries in sub-tabs:
- Locate the record in the list.
- Click View/Edit.
- Make necessary changes.
- Click Submit to save updates.
Step 2: Add Commodity Code (Optional)
Below the edit form, you will find a section named “Create Commodity Code” with HS Code.
In the HS Code tab, fill in the following mandatory fields:
- Country Code – Input the code that uniquely identifies the country.
- Commodity Code – Enter the code representing the specific commodity or product.
- Commodity Effective Date – Specify the date from which the commodity code becomes valid.
- Commodity Expiry Date – Specify the date when the commodity code becomes invalid.
noteTo modify or add dropdown values, access the Master Category page.
After entering details:
- Click Submit to save.
- The details will appear in the list for reference.
To edit entries:
- Click View/Edit in the list.
- Modify the necessary fields.
- Click Submit to update the entry.
1.3 Search Customer Material
Step 1: Start Searching
On the Customer Material Search page, you can filter records using:
- Customer Material Number – Search by specific material number.
- Customer Material Description – Search by material description.
Step 2: View the Results
After clicking Search, matching results will appear in the Results section.
The list displays:
- S.No – Serial number of each record.
- View/Edit Actions – Icons to view or modify the selected record.
- Customer Material Number – Unique ID assigned to the customer material.
- Customer Material Description – Name or description of the material.
- Linked Part – Internal part number linked to the material.
You can also export results by clicking “Export as Excel”.
1.4 Edit Customer Material
Step 1: Locate the Customer Material to Edit
Use the search filters (Customer Material Number, Description) on the Customer Material Search page to find the record you want to update.
Step 2: Open for Editing
From the results, click the View/Edit icon.
This opens the Edit Customer Material page.
Step 3: Modify the Details
You can update the following fields:
- Customer Material Number
- Customer Material Description
- Linked Part
After making the necessary changes, click Submit to save.
