1.1 Add Packaging Master​

Add Packaging Master - Step-by-Step

Step 1: Reach the Packaging Master Section

  • From the main side menu, click on "Packing", then go to "Masters", and finally choose "Packaging Master". This will open the Packaging Master Search page.

Step 2: Adding Packaging Master

  • Located at the top-right corner of the Packaging Master Search page, there is an “Add Packaging Master" button. Simply click on this button to proceed.

Step 3: Fill in Details

  • Name: [Text Field] (Mandatory) Enter the name of the packaging master.

  • Package Type: [Dropdown] (Mandatory) Select the package type from the drop down (Wooden Box, Pallets, Plywood Box, Corrugated Box, CB/Plywood pallet).

  • Box Weight: [Numeric Field] (Mandatory) Enter the weight of the package.

  • Weight Unit: [Dropdown] (Mandatory) Select the unit of measurement for the box weight from the dropdown.

  • Length: [Numeric Field] (Mandatory) Enter the length of the package.

  • Width: [Numeric Field] (Mandatory) Enter the width of the package.

  • Height: [Numeric Field] (Mandatory) Enter the height of the package.

  • Dimension Unit: [Dropdown] (Mandatory) Select the unit of measurement for the package dimensions (e.g., mm, cm ).

  • Status: [Dropdown] (Mandatory) Select the status of the packaging master (e.g., Active or Inactive).

  • Description: [Text Area] (Optional) Enter a description or additional information about the packaging master, if required.

Submission of Packaging Master

  • Upon submission of Packaging Master, the entry will be added and the screen will transition to the edit mode.
  • If you change your mind and don't want to add a Packaging Master, click "Cancel" it takes you back to the Packaging Master Search page.
  • To start Over: Click the "Clear" button if you wish to erase all information and begin anew. Please note that once this button is clicked, the entered information will not be saved.

The Packaging Master records created in this screen will be available for package mapping in the "Packing" screen.

1.2 Search Packaging Master​

Search a Packaging Master Step-by-step

Step 1: Start Searching

On the Packaging Master Search page, you can search in different ways:

Step 2: Search Packaging Master

Use the search filters to find existing Packaging Master records.

  • Name: [Text Field] (Optional) Enter the package name to search for a specific Packaging Master.

  • Package Type: [Dropdown] (Optional) Select the package type to filter the search results.

  • Status: [Dropdown] (Optional) Select the status (e.g., Active or Inactive) to filter the records.

  • Search: [Button] Click Search to display Packaging Master records based on the selected search criteria.

  • Clear: [Button] Click Clear to reset all search filters.

  • Export as Excel: [Button] Click Export as Excel to download the displayed Packaging Master records in Excel format.

Results​

The search results display the following information for each Packaging Master:

  • Name

  • Package Type

  • Description

  • Box Weight

  • Weight Unit

  • Length

  • Width

  • Height

  • Dimension Unit

  • Status

  • Search (Grid): Use the search box above the results grid to quickly search within the displayed records.

1.3 Edit Packaging Master​

Edit a Packaging Master - Step-by-Step

Step 1: Find the Packaging Master

Navigate to the Packaging Master search screen.

Step 2: Search the Packaging Master

Use the available search filters to locate the Packaging Master you want to edit.

Step 3: Start Editing

After searching, the Packaging Master records will be displayed.

  • Click the View/Edit icon corresponding to the Packaging Master you want to modify.
  • The Edit Packaging Master page will be displayed with the existing details.

Step 4: Update the Details

Modify the required field(s) as needed.

Step 5: Save the Changes

  • Review the updated details.
  • Click Submit to save the changes to the Packaging Master.
