1.1 Search Tool Change Report​

Search Tool Change Report – Step-by-Step


Step 1: Access the Tool Change Report From the main side menu, navigate to:
Tooling β†’ Reports β†’ Tool Change Report
This will open the Tool Change Report search page.


Step 2: Enter Search Criteria Fill in the following fields to generate the report:

  • Report From Date [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Select the starting date of the report period.
  • Report To Date [Text Field] (Mandatory) – Select the ending date of the report period.
  • Part Serial No [Text Field] (Optional) – Enter the part serial number to filter specific records (maximum 10 characters).
  • Part [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the part from the dropdown list.
  • Operator Name [Dropdown] (Optional) – Choose the operator who performed the tool change.
  • Machine [Dropdown] (Optional) – Select the machine where the tool change occurred.
  • Shift [Dropdown] (Optional) – Choose the shift (e.g., Shift1, Shift2) for filtering results.

Step 3: Search or Clear

  • Search – Click Search to generate the report.
  • Clear – Click Clear to reset filters.

Step 4: Use the Search Box You can also use the Search box available on the right side of the report table.

  • Enter keywords such as Machine name, Shift, etc., to quickly filter the results.
  • The table will update dynamically based on your search input.

Step 4: View Tool Change Report Once the search is executed, the results are displayed in a table with the following details:

  • Serial No – Auto-generated serial number for each record.
  • Machine Name – The machine on which the tool change was performed.
  • Part – The part name linked to the tool change.
  • Part Serial No – The serial number of the part.
  • Tools Name – The tool details including type, model, diameter, radius, and length (as added in the tool layout).
  • Tool Change At – Indicates the stage when the tool change occurred (e.g., During the process).
  • Remarks – Any additional comments or notes related to the tool change.
  • Reason – Reason for tool change, if provided.
  • Operator – Name of the operator who carried out the tool change.
  • Date – The date on which the tool change took place.
  • Shift – The work shift during which the tool change occurred.

Step 5: Export / Print Report Users can export or print the report:

  • Excel – Click to download the report in Excel format.
  • Print – Click to print the report directly.
