1.1 Search Operator Shift Logβ
Search an Operator Shift Log β Step-by-Stepβ
Step 1: Reach the Operator Shift Log Section
From the main side menu, click on "Production and Quality", then go to "Operations", and finally choose "Operator Shift Log".
This will open the Operator Shift Log Search page.
Step 2: Start Searching
On the Operator Shift Log Search page, you can filter by:
- Operator Name β Select Operator Name from dropdown list.
- From Date [Mandatory] β Enter the start date.
- To Date [Mandatory] β Enter the end date.
- Is Shift Updated β Select "Yes" or "No" from dropdown.
- Select Shift Time Comparison β Choose a comparison from dropdown after enter the shift time.
- Shift Time (in mins) β Enter the duration of the shift in minutes.
- Entry Type β Shows Bulk or Operator.
Step 3: See Results
- Click Search β Matching Operator Shift Logs will appear in a list.
1.2 Edit Operator Shift Logβ
Edit an Operator Shift Log β Step-by-Stepβ
Step 1: Find the Record
Search using filters on the Operator Shift Log Search page.
Step 2: Start Editing
From the results,click View/Edit next to the S.No.
Step 3: Edit Details
On the Edit Operator Shift Log page, existing details will be shown.
Update the required fields.
Step 4: Save Changes
After reviewing the edits, click Submit to save.
1.3 Add Bulk Operator Shift Logβ
Bulk Add β Step-by-Stepβ
Step 1: Open Bulk Add
From the Operator Shift Log Search page, click Add Bulk Operator Shift Log.
Step 2: Fill Required Fields
- Operator β Select one or more operators. (Mandatory)
- From Date β Start date. (Mandatory)
- To Date β End date. (Mandatory)
- Shift Timing β Select shift. (Mandatory)
- From Time / To Time β Auto-filled from shift, can be adjusted. (Mandatory)
Step 3: Submit
- Click Add Bulk Operator Shift Log.
- If bulk entries already exist for selected dates, the system will prompt for overwrite confirmation.
- On confirmation, bulk entries will be overwritten and the previous values will be stored as Updated Shift Start/Close Time.
1.4 Validations and Rulesβ
General Validations
- Operator, From Date, To Date, Shift Timing, From Time, To Time are mandatory.
- Date range cannot exceed 7 days.
- If no valid rows are available, the system shows No valid shift logs to create.
Entry Type Rules
- Operator entry = created/edited manually; it is not overwritten by bulk.
- Bulk entry = created by bulk upload; can be overwritten only after confirmation.
Shift Date Rules
- For normal shifts, Shift Date is saved exactly as the selected date.
- For earlyβmorning overlap shifts, Shift Date is saved as the previous date when shift details has:
Is Shift Timing Overlap = YesShift Report Day Detail = Previous Day- Shift From Time is between 01:30 and 08:30
1.5 Examples (Simple)β
Example A: Normal Day Shift
You select:
- Date: March 2
- Time: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
Result:
- Shift Date saved as March 2
- Entry Type: Bulk
Example B: EarlyβMorning Shift (Previous Day Rule)
You select:
- Date: March 2
- Time: 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM
- This shift is marked as an overlap/previous-day shift in settings
Result:
- Shift Date saved as March 1 (previous day)
Example C: Bulk Overwrite
If a bulk entry already exists for the same date:
- System asks for confirmation
- If you confirm, the old time is moved to Updated Shift Start/Close Time
