Bulk Upload
The Bulk Upload screen helps you upload multiple master records at once by using the system-generated Excel template.
1.1 Reach the Bulk Upload Screen
From the main side menu, click on "Design & Development", then go to "Masters", and finally choose "Bulk Upload". This will open the Bulk Upload screen.
1.2 Screen Overview
Type
The Type field is a searchable dropdown. On the Design & Development → Master → Bulk Upload screen, it includes the following options:
- Part
- Part Details
- Metal
Download Template
After selecting a type, click Download Template to get the latest Excel file for that upload type.
Upload Area
Click inside the upload box or drag and drop the completed .xlsx file. The box reads "Click to upload or drag and drop XLSX file (Max. 3MB)", confirming only Excel files up to 3MB are allowed.
The Control Plan dropdown and Openstock Date field that appear on some other Bulk Upload screens are not used here — on Design & Development → Master → Bulk Upload, the Type dropdown only offers Part, Part Details, and Metal, none of which trigger those fields.
Validate & Upload
Click Validate & Upload to validate the file and upload the records into the system.
Clear
Click Clear to remove the selected file and restart the upload process.
