OEE Chart Report

note

This module is designed to generate comprehensive OEE Chart Reports using advanced filters and interactive charts. It enables users to analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production data with accuracy based on selected criteria.

1.1 Generate OEE Chart Reports

Step-by-Step Guide

1.1.1: Access the OEE Chart Report Section

  1. Navigate to the main menu and click on Production and Quality.
  2. Go to Reports and select Info Graphics - OEE-Charts-Reports.

1.1.2: Understanding the Search Fields

note

All fields with a (*) are mandatory, so remember to fill them all.

The OEE Chart Report screen allows users to apply detailed filters. Below is a description of each field:

  • Date Range Picker (Date picker): Select a time period for the report (e.g., “Last 7 Days,” “This Month,” or custom dates). Defaults to today’s date (e.g., 2025-07-08).
  • Category Filter (Single-select dropdown): Choose specific machines or workers to analyze.
    Example: Machine : 01, Operator : Operator_01
  • Part status Filter (Single-select dropdown): Filter by Part status, such as “Approved.”
  • Report Carousel (Slider with arrows): Select a report type, such as “Day Wise OEE,” “Machine Wise OEE,” “Worker Wise OEE,” or “Production Count.”

1.1.3: Understanding Field Validations

  • All mandatory fields (Date Range, Category, Part status) must be filled to generate the report.
  • The Date Range Picker defaults to the current system date.
  • The system will display a “No data available” message if no records match the selected filters.
  • All dropdowns are preset to ensure proper filtering and minimize user error.

1.1.4: Start Generating the Report

  1. After selecting the filters and report type, the chart will automatically update to display the data.
  2. Hover over the chart to view detailed information (e.g., OEE percentages, production counts).
  3. Click the Clear button to reset all fields to their default values.

1.1.5: No Data Found Warning

If no records match the selected filters, the following warning will be displayed:

🟧 No Data Available
⚠️ Warning!

This means no report data exists for the selected filters.

Recommended Actions:

  • Double-check the selected dropdown values and date range.
  • Try a broader time period or different filters.
  • Ensure production or OEE data was recorded for the selected criteria.

1.1.6: How OEE Is Calculated

OEE shows how well machines or workers are performing. Here’s how the system calculates it for each report type in simple terms:

  • Day Wise OEE:

    • Shows daily OEE.
    • Formula: OEE (%) = (Time spent producing Ă· Time available after breaks) Ă— 100
    • Time available = Total time - Scheduled breaks (e.g., maintenance).
    • Example: Machine works 400 minutes, has 480 minutes total, and 30 minutes of breaks. OEE = (400 Ă· (480 - 30)) Ă— 100 = 88.9%.
  • Month Wise OEE:

    • Shows monthly OEE.
    • Formula: OEE (%) = (Time spent producing Ă· Time available after breaks) Ă— 100
    • Time available = (Days in month Ă— Time per day) - Breaks.
    • Example: For 30 days with 480 minutes/day and 900 minutes of breaks, OEE = (12,000 Ă· (30 Ă— 480 - 900)) Ă— 100 = 88.9%.
  • Machine Wise OEE:

    • Shows OEE for each machine.
    • Formula: OEE (%) = (Time spent producing Ă· Time available after breaks) Ă— 100
    • Example: Machine works 1,000 minutes, has 1,200 minutes total, and 100 minutes of breaks. OEE = (1,000 Ă· (1,200 - 100)) Ă— 100 = 90.9%.
  • Operator Wise OEE:

    • Shows OEE for each Operator.
    • Formula: OEE (%) = (Time spent working Ă· Total available time) Ă— 100
    • Example: Operator produces for 300 minutes out of 360 minutes. OEE = (300 Ă· 360) Ă— 100 = 83.3%.
  • Operator With Idle Time OEE:

    • Shows Operator OEE including idle time.
    • Formula: OEE (%) = (Work time + Idle time Ă· Total available time) Ă— 100
    • Example: Operator works 300 minutes, is idle for 30 minutes, has 360 minutes total. OEE = (330 Ă· 360) Ă— 100 = 91.7%.

1.1.7: Verify OEE Data

To ensure OEE accuracy, compare the chart data with the Control Task Report:

  1. Navigate to Production & Quality > Reports > Control Task.
  2. Select the same date range used in the OEE Chart Report.
  3. Export the report as an Excel file.
  4. Calculate OEE using the formula: OEE = Availability Ă— Performance Ă— Quality
    • Availability: (Machine Running Time) Ă· (Scheduled Operating Time).
    • Performance: (Ideal Cycle Time Ă— Number of Items Produced) Ă· (Running Time).
    • Quality: (Number of Good Items Produced) Ă· (Total Number of Items Produced).
  5. Compare the calculated OEE with the chart’s OEE. Contact your system administrator if discrepancies are found.

1.1.8: Save or Share the Chart

  • Take a screenshot or use your browser’s “Save as Image” option to export the chart for reports or presentations.
  • Toggle between light and dark themes for better visibility during sharing.
